My name is Madison Miller. I am a junior at Chapman University studying Broadcast Journalism and Political Science, with an interest in local news. I am interested in the Assignment Desk, Digital and Investigative teams.

I have spent the past two summers as an Intern in the KPNX newsroom in Phoenix, primarily on the Assignment Desk. From this experience, I gained advanced newsgathering skills and produced several packages. I also had the opportunity to help produce 12News streaming coverage of the Lori Vallow Daybell trial in Arizona and field-produce for the 12News Summer of a Million Meals Telethon.

I will spend the summer of 2026 at CBS 8 San Diego as a Story Desk Intern.

I am an MMJ for Chapman News, the local student newscast at Chapman University. I produce, write, shoot and edit weekly stories on deadline. I was also an Executive Producer of Chapman News’ general election night coverage in 2024.

I am also a freelance Camera Assistant for the PGA Tour, traveling between Arizona and California to provide live coverage for the Golf Channel and ESPN+.
