My name is Madison Miller. I am an incoming senior at Chapman University studying Broadcast Journalism and Political Science, with an interest in local news. I am interested in the Assignment Desk, Digital and Investigative teams.

I spent two summers as an intern in the KPNX newsroom in Phoenix, primarily on the assignment desk. From this experience, I gained advanced newsgathering skills and produced several packages. I also had the opportunity to help produce 12News streaming coverage of the Lori Vallow Daybell trial in Arizona and field-produce for the 12News Summer of a Million Meals Telethon.

I am currently a Story Desk Intern at CBS 8 San Diego.

I am an executive producer of Chapman News, the local student newscast at Chapman University. Previously, I was an MMJ where I produced, wrote, shot and edited weekly stories on deadline. I was also an executive producer of Chapman News’ general election night coverage in 2024.

I am also a freelance camera assistant for the PGA Tour, traveling between Arizona and California to provide live coverage for the Golf Channel and ESPN+.
